Magnitude 4.8 Earthquake Shakes Northern Morocco and Southern Spain

Tetouan and its region were hit around noon by a slight earthquake. This mini-earthquake was also felt in southern Spain (Huelva).
According to the Spanish National Geographic Institute, the 4.8 magnitude quake on the Richter scale occurred exactly at 11:46 local time at a depth of 52 kilometers.
The last earthquake in Morocco occurred on July 26 off the city of Driouch. At a depth of 24 km, a latitude of 35.461°N and a longitude of 3.840°W, this shock occurred exactly at 1:13:01 PM (GMT+1).
