Madrid Warehouse Fire Injures Three Young Men, Two Moroccan Nationals

Municipal police officers in Madrid were patrolling the Aguacate street in the Carabanchel neighborhood when they spotted three young people, two of whom were Moroccans, who were victims of a serious fire that broke out in a warehouse. Seriously injured, they were taken to the hospital. Their prognosis is engaged.
The three young people (two Moroccans and one Spaniard), aged between 18 and 20 years old, were naked and had serious burns on their bodies. They were getting into the back of a chauffeur-driven vehicle (VTC) when the police, having seen the scene, approached to see what was happening. Seeing them coming, "the three fled and were intercepted," explains a police spokesman to ABC.
Noting that the three young people had large burn marks on their bodies, the agents immediately called the emergency services and the SAMU, who quickly arrived on the scene, administered first aid to the young people before transferring them to the Getafe and La Paz university hospitals. Their prognosis is engaged. They were burned 30% for one, 40% for the other and 60% for the third. The affected body parts are the face, the palms of the hands, the back, the legs. "Gasoline was used," assures the SAMU.
The three young people are still hospitalized and are in custody. They are suspected of having committed acts of vandalism. For the moment, their critical health condition has not allowed their statements to be taken. The police inspected the burned warehouse and found burned clothes, skin remains, mobile phones and identity documents belonging to the victims.
The scientific police are investigating to determine the causes and origin of the fire, and whether the three young people are the perpetrators of this act of vandalism.
