The industrial unit will focus on the "Bayraktar Akinci" multi-role drone, the flagship of Turkish defense. This long-range and high-altitude (HALE) combat model, which entered service in 2021, represents a major technological evolution compared to the "TB2" drone that the Royal Armed Forces already possess.
The ambition is not limited to the simple assembly of the devices. The activity of the site will cover the "design, manufacture and advanced maintenance", as well as the localization of the production of the technological, electronic systems and spare parts necessary for national defense.
