Lyon Eyes Loan Move for Chelsea’s Hakim Ziyech Amid Budget Constraints

Olympique Lyonnais would be interested in the possibility of recovering Hakim Ziyech, lacking playing time at Chelsea. An idea that does not displease the Moroccan international who will be able to relaunch himself by finding his former coach Peter Bosz from Ajax. In search of reinforcements to regain the Champions League, the leaders of Olympique Lyonnais are multiplying the leads, including that of Hakim Ziyech, reports the French media.
According to the sporting director of the Rhone club, the Moroccan striker would be "a solution" for the attack of the club which lost Memphis Depay, now at FC Barcelona.
But, with a salary of 500,000 euros per month and a transfer valued at least 40 million euros at Chelsea, OL will not be able to afford the player. The only Lyon alternative is to bring him in on loan from this summer, with perhaps an option to buy.
However, according to the same source, his current coach Thomas Tuchel would like to keep him to have several offensive assets next season. It adds that the reality of the transfer market shows that Hakim Ziyech will not move from London.
