Luis Velilles Maghouza abandons Spain for Morocco

Luis Velilles Maghouza, captain of Real Betis Cadets B, has turned his back on Spain and chosen to defend the colors of Morocco. On the web, he announced his first call-up by the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF).
It was on his Instagram account that Luis Velilles Maghouza, 15 years old, announced his choice to play for Morocco, following in the footsteps of his older brother, Aaron Velilles Maghouza. He will have to join the U17 team. He also announced his first call-up under the colors of the kingdom on the same social network.
Born in 2009 to a Spanish father and a Moroccan mother from Tetouan, the young player preferred the Atlas Lions to La Rojita even though he had already been called up by the Spanish U15 team. With them, the captain of Real Betis Cadets B participated in the Albir Garden international tournament, which took place from December 6 to 10 in Spain.
