The Lionesses of the Atlas crush Senegal (7-0)
The Moroccan women’s national football team inflicted a heavy defeat on the Senegalese team in a friendly match played on Tuesday evening at the Père-Jégo stadium in Casablanca. The final score is a clear 7-0.
From the 8th minute, Ibtissam Jraidi opens the scoring on a penalty. The Moroccans quickly take control of the game and Yasmin Mrabet doubles the lead in the 17th minute. Sara Kassi increases the score in the 28th minute, imitated by Fatima Tagnaout just before half-time (45th).
After the break, the Senegalese are unable to reverse the trend. Ibtissam Jraidi scores a brace in the 55th minute, bringing the score to 5-0. Kenza Chapelle (86th) and Rania Boutiebi (90+3rd) complete the demonstration of strength of the Lionesses of the Atlas.
This friendly match is part of the preparation of the Moroccan national team for the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, which will soon be held in Morocco.
