Lille Airport Traffic Plummets 50% as Morocco Border Closure Impacts Routes

The closure of the Moroccan borders has hit the Lille airport, which offers air links to Morocco, hard.
The resumption of activity at Lille airport is marked by a reduction in air traffic of around 50% compared to normal, BFM Lille reports. The airport hall is almost deserted this back-to-school season. Only one of the three screens indicating arrivals and departures of planes is operational. It is difficult for the airport to regain its cruising speed.
Currently, only 25 destinations out of 60 are served. This situation is explained among other things by the suspension of several links with cities in Morocco, Algeria or Turkey due
