RC Lens Targets Moroccan Defender El Kaoutari to Bolster Ligue 1 Squad
RC Lens is coveting Abdelhamid El Kaoutari in order to bring an experienced touch to a team that is sorely lacking it, after having validated its ticket for Ligue 1.
According to footmercato, the 30-year-old Moroccan defender is on Lens’ radar for his many performances and professional career which so far shows the commitment of a man ready to take on the challenges that confront him. And Lens, which has experienced players such as "Jean-Louis Leca, Yannick Cahuzac or Guillaume Gillet", needs this Moroccan touch to strengthen its team.
From Montpellier to Palermo, via Reims, Bastia, WAC Casablanca before landing a year ago at Nancy, the Moroccan international has had time to capitalize on a lot of experience that he could put at the service of the French club. "A windfall for the Ligue 1 newcomer who could recover an experienced player at a lower cost". But Lens is not the only one interested in him. Several foreign clubs, including several Spanish ones, are also on the case, the same source indicates.
