Legendary Moroccan Singer Fathallah Lamghari Dies at 82

Fathallah Lamghari is no more. The Moroccan artist and singer passed away on Saturday evening, according to sources close to his family. He was hospitalized at the Rabat hospital.
At the age of 82, the singer has lulled generations of Moroccans with a wide repertoire of songs, many of which have been covered by other Moroccan and Arab artists. We will remember "Wallah manta maana", "Faynek Al Hbib" or "Allah Ala Raha".
In addition to being a prolific artist, he was also a lyricist. It was he who had written the patriotic song "Nidaa Al Hassan" specially written on the occasion of the Green March in 1975. He is also the author of "Mouhal Ynessak Elbal", "Maghiyara", "Mouhal Ynessak Elbal" and of course "Kass El Bellar".
