Kuwaiti Airline to Launch Morocco Flights Amid COVID Variant Concerns

A Kuwaiti airline will offer flights to Morocco starting August 1st. The kingdom has placed the country on its List B, which includes all countries experiencing the spread of variants or the absence of accurate statistics on the epidemiological situation.
A Kuwaiti airline plans to launch routes to Morocco starting August 1, reports the Kuwaiti media Al-Qabas. The name of this airline has not yet been communicated. Two lines will be launched. The launch of the first line will take place on August 1 and will be interrupted on August 15, with the itinerary "Kuwait - Malaga - Casablanca - Kuwait". The second line will be launched on August 19 and will be suspended on August 31, with two flights per week. It will connect "Kuwait - Casablanca - Malaga - Kuwait".
Kuwait is on Morocco’s List B. Fully vaccinated travelers from this country will have to produce a certificate attesting that they have been fully vaccinated with one of the vaccines accepted in Morocco and present a negative PCR test dated less than 48 hours (time between sampling and boarding). As for unvaccinated or partially vaccinated persons, they must present a negative PCR test dated less than 48 hours (time between sampling and boarding) and undergo a controlled 10-day quarantine, at the expense of the person concerned in one of the structures previously designated by the local authorities, with a control PCR test on the 9th day.
Moroccan citizens or people of Moroccan origin, coming from Kuwait, will observe a home self-isolation for 5 days, and undergo a screening test (rapid antigen or PCR) on the 5th day.
