Korea Honors Moroccan Veterans of Korean War in 60th Anniversary Tribute

"Morocco-Korea, Brothers in Blood" is the name of this bilingual (French/English) work, jointly published by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Rabat and the Diplomatic Foundation, which tells the story of the Moroccan soldiers who fought alongside Korea during the Korean War.
Published as part of the 60th anniversary of Moroccan-Korean diplomatic relations, the book is a tribute to the 21 veterans who have been identified and those who could not be and are the subject of serious research.
A tribute exhibition to these soldiers was held on December 20 in Rabat in the presence of several Korean and Moroccan officials. The exhibited photos allowed participants to discover the extent of the sacrifice of these Moroccan soldiers.
The Korean War took place from June 25, 1950 to July 27, 1953 and remains one of the deadliest the world has known with nearly 500,000 dead and 1,500,000 wounded.
