King Mohammed VI to Inaugurate Major Projects in Agadir Visit

King Mohammed VI is expected in the coming hours in Agadir. The royal plane is scheduled to land at the Bensergaou military airport, in the suburbs of the city.

On the program of the royal visit is the inauguration of several socio-economic projects, including the free industrial zone, the integrated program of greater Agadir, and the renovation of the historic Kasbah Agadir Oufella, and the largest commercial market in Africa.

On the sidelines of the Sovereign’s arrival, several civil associations in Agadir and Inezgane have called on their members to come in droves to the airport, in order to welcome the king in the royal tent, erected for the occasion on the large Al Amal square.

Postponed several times, the royal visit should bring a new breath to the many socio-economic projects awaiting launch, and extract the region from its quasi-permanent state of paralysis, by infusing it with new dynamism.
