Kidnapper of Moroccan Boy Arrested in Taroudant After Ransom Demand

The alleged kidnapper of little Hussein was arrested on Thursday, October 22, 2020 in Taroudant. After kidnapping the little boy near the family home in the Douar Ait Hamou of the Oued Safa community, he is said to have then demanded a ransom.
Informed of the ransom demanded by the suspect in exchange for the release of the victim, the gendarmes set a trap for the accused. This trick allowed the security forces to arrest him in a concession in Taroudant, thanks to the means deployed on site, including dogs, a drone and security equipment.
Arrested, the defendant was placed in custody for the needs of the investigation, pending his appearance.
