Kickboxing Star Badr Hari Suspended 19 Months for Doping Violation

Very bad news for Moroccan champion Badr Hari and also for his many fans around the world. The kickboxer indirectly admits to doping by accepting the sanction imposed on him.
Does this mean the end of the Moroccan’s career? We don’t know yet what Hari’s decision will be, but the fact is that Glory has just confirmed on its website the 19-month suspension of one of its most profitable and most publicized athletes.
"Moroccan heavyweight Badr Hari has been handed a 19-month suspension after samples provided at Glory 51 in Rotterdam tested positive," the organizers write, which is a "violation of anti-doping rules."
In addition to Hari, three other athletes have had their sanctions confirmed. They are Hesdy Gerges (Hari’s opponent at Glory 51!), Mladen Brestovac and Ariel Machado.
Badr Hari’s sanction therefore began on May 7, 2018, nearly a year ago, and he will not be able to compete in any official fight until next year. Will he have the courage and the desire to continue training? The future will tell.
