Kickboxing Champion Ben Saddik Returns with Brutal KO Victory

After two and a half years of absence, due to doping suspensions and various ancillary affairs, the Belgian-Moroccan kickboxing champion, Jamal Ben Saddik, succeeded in his comeback by breaking the arm of his opponent, the Estonian Uku Jürjendal, before knocking him out during Glory 98 at the Ahoy in Rotterdam on Saturday evening.
Jamal Ben Saddik is making an epic comeback. Before the fight against Estonian Uku Jürjendal on Saturday, he had claimed that the heavyweight category had become lethargic during his absence and promised a great show. If the first two rounds were disappointing, the fans were able to feast during the third round. The one nicknamed The Goliath went on the attack. He inflicted so many kicks on his opponent that the Estonian had to continue the fight largely with one arm. He had a broken left arm and was unable to defend himself against a violent kick to the head. Ben Saddik knocks out his opponent.
"Sorry guys, I have to get operated on immediately. I love you," Jürjendal wrote in a post on his Instagram account, thus confirming that he had broken an arm during the fight. This victory against the Estonian is synonymous with a successful comeback for the 34-year-old Moroccan, but also a revenge for the Moroccan flag. In 2023, Moroccan champion Badr Hari had lost to the Estonian kickboxer. At the end of Saturday’s fight, The Goliath thanked his fans: "Thank you for your support. I let you down, but from now on, it won’t happen again."
