Kénitra Real Estate Market Sees Sharp Decline Amid Coronavirus Crisis

The trends related to real estate prices and transactions in the city of Kénitra are contained in the Real Estate Asset Price Index (REAPI) published by Bank Al Maghrib.
In Kénitra, apartment prices have decreased by -5.5% while transactions have recorded a sharp drop of -51.1%. In the house segment, there is a decrease in prices of -4.3% while transactions plummet by -46.7%.
The Real Estate Asset Price Index (REAPI) reveals a drop in villa prices of −18.5% while transactions indicate a regression of −35.0%. A decline is also recorded in the prices of urban land at around −2.6%, while the number of transactions has fallen by −39.7%.
Furthermore, commercial property prices have fallen by −10.4%, while transactions have decreased by −34.8%. As for offices, there is a price drop of −5.8% while transactions have recorded a large decline of −45.2% for the first quarter of 2020, according to the REAPI.
