Juventus Debuts 20-Year-Old Moroccan Prodigy Amid National Team Speculation

At just 20 years old, Jonas "Younes" Rouhi made his debut with Juventus’ first team on Monday in the match against Hellas Verona (3-0) in Serie A. The left-back of Moroccan origin, who has been much talked about lately, could join the den of the Atlas Lions.
Juventus coach Thiago Motta trusted Jonas "Younes" Rouhi and brought him on in the 77th minute, replacing Colombian Juan Cabal. The young defender delivered a remarkable performance in this match counting for the second day of Serie A, contributing to Juventus’ victory over Hellas Verona (3-0).
The left-back is one of the jewels of the Italian club. He has been part of the Juventus academy since a very young age and has just made his debut in the first team, emerging as one of the promises of Italian and world football.
Of Moroccan father and Swedish mother of Polish origin, Jonas "Younes" Rouhi has the possibility to represent both Morocco and Sweden at the international level. The 20-year-old player is currently a member of the Swedish under-21 national team, but is seriously considering joining the Atlas Lions.
The Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF), whose scouts are scouring Europe in search of dual-national talents, could convince Rouhi to wear the Moroccan colors. The arrival of this talent in the Moroccan selection would help strengthen the defense of the Atlas Lions, especially on the left side.
