Jordan’s King Abdullah II to Make Official Visit to Morocco

King Abdullah II of Jordan will visit Morocco on March 27 and 28 for a friendly and working visit, at the invitation of King Mohammed VI.
The Ministry of the Royal Household, Protocol and Chancellery announced that "at the invitation of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist him, the Sovereign of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein, will make a friendly and working visit to the Kingdom of Morocco, on Wednesday and Thursday, 20 and 21 Rajab 1440 of the Hegira, corresponding to March 27 and 28, 2019."
Official talks between the two sovereigns are also planned, the ministry said, specifying that this "visit illustrates the depth of the fraternal, cooperative and solidarity relations uniting the two brotherly peoples, thanks to the common will of the two Sovereigns".
The last visit of the Hashemite sovereign had taken place exactly two years ago, also at the invitation of the King of Morocco. King Abdullah II was accompanied by Queen Rania of Jordan.
