Jamel Debbouze Returns to TV with New Airport Comedy Series "Terminal"

Canal+ confirmed this week that the series "Terminal", a project of the Franco-Moroccan comedian Jamel Debbouze, will follow the lineage of the famous series "H" which was a huge success in the early 2000s.
"Terminal", a comedy set in an airport, will bring together a group of comedians from the new generation of stand-up, with Debbouze himself playing a customs officer. Last July, on the Europe 1 airwaves, Debbouze had shared his enthusiasm for this project, saying he wanted to rediscover the magic that made the success of "H".
Even if Jamel Debbouze is less present in the media, he remains active in the world of entertainment. In addition to his responsibilities as producer of the "Marrakech du Rire" festival, he devotes a significant part of his time to writing, particularly for this new series.
However, some information remains to be clarified about "Terminal". Debbouze revealed that the series would highlight "young comedians well known to stand-up fans", which suggests that some actors could come from the Jamel Comedy Club, now presented by Waly Dia and broadcast on Canal+.
