Jamel Debbouze to Co-Host 2023 César Awards with Star-Studded Lineup

The 48th César ceremony, scheduled for February 24 in Paris, will be presented by a host of stars, including Jamel Debbouze. The Franco-Moroccan comedian has already been President at the 2013 edition.
The announcement was made by the César Academy, which this year opted for a "collegiate and joyful presentation in support of cinematographic creation, a collective mobilization in the service of a renewed ceremony that will highlight the diversity and richness of cinema in France."
According to a press release from the organizers, they will be 9 in number, with 4 women and 5 men presenting the ceremony. They are: Leïla Bekhti, Jérôme Commandeur, Jamel Debbouze, Emmanuelle Devos, Léa Drucker, Eye Haïdara, Alex Lutz, Raphaël Personnaz and Ahmed Sylla.
"These artists will share their love of cinema and celebrate, for the duration of this great event, those who will have made it shine this year," the note emphasizes, adding that the artistic direction will be ensured by Eric Lartigau, director of "The Bélier Family" and "That Summer", currently in theaters.
Note that actor Tahar Rahim will be the president of this 48th edition. The ceremony will take place on Friday, February 24 at the Olympia. It will be broadcast live on Canal+ from 9 p.m., the same source specifies.
