Italian Premium Coffee Brand Pavin Caffè Expands to Morocco, Targets HoReCa Sector

The Italian roaster Pavin Caffè, a premium coffee producer, has set up shop in Morocco by opening a subsidiary in Casablanca called Pavin Caffé Maroc.
The objective of the project is to introduce Moroccan operators in the HoReCa (Cafes / Hotels / Restaurants) sector to Pavin Caffè products, which are made from refined blends from countries known for their long coffee tradition such as Burundi, Colombia and Indonesia, reports Challenge.
To this end, the Italian group plans to recruit about ten salespeople by the end of the year.
Pavin Caffè Maroc also plans to tackle the B2C market, particularly through capsules and single-dose chocolate sachets, through the channel of premium convenience stores and large-scale retail.
For the record, Morocco does not produce coffee and imports around 30,000 tons per year, mainly green coffee (80% robusta and 20% arabica).
