Israeli Team Celebrates Medal Wins at Marrakech Judo Grand Prix

The coach of the Israeli judo team said he was very proud to have won medals and to have been able to raise the Israeli flag high in Morocco. This concerns the hosting by Morocco of the Marrakech Judo Grand Prix.
The Marrakech Judo Grand Prix began on Friday at Bab Jdid Square, with the participation of 500 judokas from 73 nations, including Israel. It ended on Sunday, March 10. Israel won medals.
The coach of the Israeli team said in this regard, and it almost sounds like political statements: "This is the second time we have participated in this prize in Morocco and I am proud because we were also able to win medals this year. And the Israeli flag was raised."
This, while Morocco would have, according to some sources, asked the Israeli participants not to wave their flags to avoid any unnecessary controversy. It should be noted that the International Judo Federation (IJF) recently praised "the vast experience acquired by Morocco in organizing high-level judo events".
