Israeli Diplomat Departs Morocco Amid Rising Israel-Palestine Tensions

Israeli chargé d’affaires David Govrin would have left Morocco for Israel. Since last Monday, tensions have again been high between the Hebrew state and Palestine.
Israeli chargé d’affaires David Govrin left Morocco for Israel last Tuesday, aboard an Emirati plane that landed in Dubai, then went to Tel Aviv on another plane, reports Assahifa Arabic. No information has been given so far on the date of his return to Rabat. The Israeli diplomat flew to Israel for "private" reasons, including his father’s illness, who lives in Jerusalem, or a visit to his wife and children who reside in Tel Aviv.
Are these the real reasons for this departure? Since last Monday, there has been a resurgence of tensions between Israel and Palestine. According to the latest toll from Israeli and Palestinian medical services, clashes between the Hebrew state and Hamas have left 109 dead. This resurgence of tensions has provoked strong reactions from several Arab countries, including Morocco. The Moroccan authorities have expressed their opposition to the Israeli attacks on Jerusalem and the Gaza Strip and called for the preservation of the city of Jerusalem as the capital of the three religions.
