Israel Warns Citizens Against Passover Travel to Morocco, Egypt Amid Security Concerns

In anticipation of the Jewish Passover holiday also called Pesach or Mimouna, the Israeli National Security Council (NSC) has just advised Israelis against traveling to Morocco, Egypt, and two other countries. The current geopolitical conditions since the war of the Israeli army against the Palestinian Hamas movement in the Gaza Strip require it.
In addition to Morocco and Egypt, the Israeli National Security Council (NSC) also advises Israelis against traveling to Turkey and Jordan to celebrate the Jewish Passover which runs from April 5 to 13 in Israel and from April 5 to 14 for Jews around the world. Turkey, Morocco, Jordan and Egypt are destinations that "should be avoided at the moment," said an Israeli official. The NSC justifies its warning by the security risks for Israeli citizens in these countries due to the fallout from the war waged by the IDF in Gaza against Hamas and the anger brewing in the public opinion of the Arab countries.
The NSC urges Israeli citizens to avoid traveling to Sweden where the Eurovision Song Contest will take place in May. It has also banned them from traveling to Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Yemen and Iran, considered "enemy" countries, and to Algeria, Libya, Pakistan, Afghanistan and Somalia classified as "high threat" countries. The NSC advises Israeli tourists to avoid crowded places (shopping malls, markets). It also calls on them to remain vigilant in public places, not to post travel details on social media, and to avoid displaying Israeli symbols.
