Israel Urges Stronger Agricultural Ties with Morocco, Citing Mutual Benefits

The Israeli Minister of Agriculture calls on Morocco and the Hebrew State to invest more in the development of the agricultural sector through the signing of partnership agreements.
In his speech, Oded Forer, the Israeli Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, stated that Morocco and Israel have sufficient means to establish promising partnerships in the field of agriculture.
"We are currently working to take advantage of the advantages of the two countries in the sector. I recently had a video conference discussion with my Moroccan counterpart, and we discussed the major issues concerning the agricultural sector, as well as the various topics that will be addressed by this conference, which are a source of concern for both countries," added the Israeli minister.
More than 70 countries participated in this agricultural conference, which comes at a time when the world is threatened by climate change and drought issues.
"I am pleased with the significant participation of Morocco in this conference, as Morocco has important experiences from which we can benefit, particularly in ocean research," said the Israeli official.
