Israel Honors Late Moroccan King Hassan II with Street Names and Memorial

The name of the late King Hassan II has been given to several streets in Israel, in tribute to his memory. A memorial has been created in memory of the important acts of his reign in favor of peace in the Middle East.
The photo of the postage stamp issued in honor of His Majesty King Hassan II, years ago, was published on the page of the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs "Israel Speaks Arabic", with this caption: "On the occasion of his birthday, Israel commemorates the memory of the late His Majesty King Hassan II of Morocco in several ways... 91 years ago, to the day, the Moroccan monarch Hassan II was born."
The photo is buzzing on the web and is highly appreciated by the subscribers of this page, especially in the Arab world.
To honor the memory of King Hassan II, his name has been given to several streets and sites in the city. These are the boulevards of Kiryat Akron in central Israel, the garden installed in the city of Ashdod, the footbridge in the city of Kiryat Gat and the memorial built in the city of Petah Tikva, in tribute to his reign marked by tolerance towards Jews and his decisive involvement in the signing of the historic peace agreement between Egypt and Israel, explains Morocco Jewish Times.
This stamp, made "in tribute to the memory of one of the main leaders of our region who worked hard to promote peace in the Middle East," in the words of the then director general of the Israeli post office, had been officially presented to King Mohammed VI.
For the Israeli leaders and leaders who had a deep respect for him, the late His Majesty King Hassan II, who was also very loved by the Moroccan Jewish community in the world, was "an intelligent, pragmatic and ahead of his time king".
