Israel’s Exports to Morocco Could Surge to $250 Million Annually, Report Finds

Israel’s export potential to Morocco could reach $250 million per year. This is what the report from the Ministry of Regional Cooperation and the Israeli Institute of Exports indicates.
The areas of Israel’s exports to Morocco are agriculture, water technology, digitization and smart industries, cybernetics, health and security, the report from the Ministry of Regional Cooperation and the Israeli Institute of Exports points out, stressing that the normalization of diplomatic relations between the two countries offers an ocean of opportunities for the business sector, as well as for national-scale projects and cultural exchanges.

The fact that Israel and Morocco have been able to maintain cultural ties despite decades of diplomatic stagnation now allows a rare combination of economic and commercial interests to flourish, the report notes. Another advantage of this commercial option is the free trade agreement that the kingdom signed with Africa at the beginning of 2021. It could thus serve as a bridge to increase trade with African countries in general.
"Economic and commercial cooperation with Morocco will lead to significant results for both parties," is convinced Adiv Baruch, president of the Israeli Institute of Exports.
