Israel and Morocco Agree to Send Construction and Nursing Workers Within a Month

The decision was made during the official visit to Rabat of the Israeli Minister of the Interior, Ayelet Shaked, during which she exchanged with the Moroccan Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nasser Bourita. Israel and Morocco normalized their diplomatic relations in December 2020, as part of the Abraham Accords, a process of rapprochement between Israel and several Arab countries, under the aegis of the United States which in return recognized Morocco’s sovereignty over the Sahara.
