Intoxicated Woman Arrested After Violent Outburst in Istanbul’s Taksim Square

The scene took place on the famous Taksim Square in Istanbul. An intoxicated Moroccan woman caused disorder in the public place by attacking passers-by.
According to the Turkish newspaper Hürriyet, the young woman, who was unaware of her actions, showed aggressive behavior, threatening police and passers-by with a bottle shard.
Ignoring the presence of the police who were trying to dissuade her, the young woman uttered vulgar words against them, shouting "I was forced to prostitute myself".
After attacking a journalist on the spot, the young woman tried to escape the police by calling a taxi. But the two officers finally handcuffed her and took away her passport.
