International Parliament for Tolerance and Peace Convenes in Morocco’s Dakhla

A session of the International Parliament for Tolerance and Peace will open on Friday, July 15 in Dakhla, in the Moroccan Sahara. Nearly 80 parliamentarians from around the world are expected to attend.
In a statement to Le360, Rachid Talbi Alami, President of the House of Representatives who will co-chair the session of the International Parliament for Tolerance and Peace, explained that this meeting is part of the continuation of the 10th session of this body, scheduled for July 13-15, 2022 in Rabat. Opened this Wednesday in Rabat at the headquarters of the House of Representatives, this 10th session will hold its closing session in Dakhla on Friday, July 15.

The delegation of the International Parliament for Tolerance and Peace is expected to reach Dakhla tomorrow, Thursday. Themes of the promotion of peace, women and youth, foreign affairs, sustainable development, as well as the fight against terrorism will be on the agenda of the discussions. According to the President of the House of Representatives, a Dakhla declaration will be published on Friday, at the end of the session’s work.
