Homeless Moroccan Man Seriously Injured in Stone-Throwing Attack in Malaga

While he was in a tent set up in Malaga, a young homeless man of Moroccan origin was seriously injured after being hit by a stone thrown by a man from a bridge. The victim was taken to the regional hospital in Malaga, and the alleged aggressor was arrested.
The incident occurred in the early morning of Saturday, May 11. A man alerted a local police patrol, claiming to have been threatened by several homeless people, according to police sources at EFE, adding that once on the scene, the agents prevented an altercation between the person and another man he had tried to assault.
The latter said the man had threatened to kill them and that he had thrown a large stone from the Aurora bridge towards a tent he had just set up with another person. This is how the agents discovered inside the tent an unconscious 23-year-old Moroccan man, seriously injured.
The victim was taken by ambulance to the regional hospital in Malaga. As for the alleged aggressor, he was arrested and taken to the national police headquarters. Aged 42, he is accused of attempted homicide.
