Hilton to Open First Waldorf Astoria in Africa with Luxury Tangier Hotel

To strengthen Tangier’s hotel offering, the international group "Hilton Worldwide" will build a new luxury hotel in the city.
The Zaid Ali "Star Hill" Tangier group has signed a convention with Hilton, for the opening of the first international "Waldorf Astoria" hotel in Tangier, reports the MAP.
The project is part of Morocco’s efforts and its desire to strengthen investments and enrich Tangier’s hospitality offering to promote its attractiveness, the same source points out.
The new hotel is the first of its kind for Waldorf Astoria not only in Morocco but also in Africa, as it is the company’s first hotel unit on the continent, it is specified. The brand is present in more than 35 cities around the world, including Beverly Hills, New York, Washington, London, Amsterdam, Rome and Dubai, etc.
