Hervé Renard to Face Former Team Morocco in Arab Cup Showdown

Two years after leaving Morocco, the former coach of the Atlas Lions, Hervé Renard, will face some of his former players as part of the Arab Cup.
Scheduled from December 1 to 18, 2021 in Qatar, this Arab Cup will see the participation of 16 teams, nine of which are already known (Qatar, Iraq, Tunisia, United Arab Emirates, Syria, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Algeria and Egypt). The Atlas Lions find themselves in Group B with Saudi Arabia.
"Playing against Morocco means a lot to me. It’s a team that will remain in my heart. I spent three years there, it was a great time with a great team. I have very fond memories," Hervé Renard told the Saudi site Alyaoum.
It should be noted that this cup includes only local players and not those playing in foreign championships.
