Hassan II Mosque Hammams Reopen in Casablanca After 3-Month Closure

Closed to the public for more than three months, the hammams of the Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca reopened their doors on Monday. A large-scale sterilization and disinfection operation of the premises and equipment of the establishment preceded the resumption of their activities.
According to the Hassan II Mosque Foundation, the reopening of these bathhouses will be done in accordance with the conditions set by the public authorities for their return to service.
In addition to these health measures, the Foundation’s management has also organized a Covid-19 screening campaign for all staff. This is in addition to daily disinfection operations using environmentally friendly and bio-approved products by the Ministry of Health. They are also recommended for baths, as they do not contain alcohol or chlorine.
