Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca Named World’s Most Beautiful by Global Tour Company

The Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca is the most beautiful in the world, according to a ranking by Civitatis, the leading company in the sale of guided tours and excursions worldwide.
The Hassan II Mosque tops this Top 10 of the most beautiful mosques in the world. It has the tallest minaret in the world. Its prayer hall can accommodate up to 25,000 worshippers and its esplanade can hold 80,000 people. The temple also has a laser beam that projects light at night with a range of 30 km towards Mecca.
In second place is the Shah Mosque of Iran. Located in the Iranian city of Isfahan, this temple, also known as the Royal Mosque, is considered one of the best examples of Islamic architecture in Iran. Third place in the ranking is occupied by the Blue Mosque of Turkey, with its mosaics, the turquoise color of its domes and its six minarets. It is located in Istanbul.
The Sheikh Zayed Mosque of the United Arab Emirates is the fourth in this ranking. It is one of the most impressive and most expensive in the world, its construction having cost $600 million US. Located in Abu Dhabi, the temple is inlaid with precious stones and fine marbles. Then comes the Jumeirah Mosque, still in the United Arab Emirates. Located in Dubai, it is one of the most imposing in the world.
The five other mosques in the ranking are: the Sultan Qaboos Mosque (Oman), the Crystal Mosque of Malaysia, built in steel, glass and crystal, the Badshahi Mosque of Lahore (Pakistan) with its large white domes, the Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Mosque of the State of Selangor (Malaysia) with its white and blue colors, and the Great Mosque of Djenné (Mali), the largest sacred earthen construction, inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 1988.
