Harrison Ford to Film ’Indiana Jones 5’ in Morocco’s Historic Fez

The fifth installment of the "Indiana Jones" series will be filmed in Fez this month. In this sense, the American international actor Harrison Ford, who plays Indiana Jones, will travel to the spiritual capital of the kingdom on October 14.
Filming will begin on October 17 and continue until early December 2021. It will involve the main actors. In charge, the filming team of the series and the Moroccan production company. Several hotels and tourist transport vehicles have already been booked in the city of Fez. Enough to revive the local economy hard hit by the health crisis related to Covid-19.
Indiana Jones joins the series of major international productions filmed in Morocco such as James Bond, Jason Bourne, Mission Impossible, Game of Thrones or Homeland, the Moroccan Cinematographic Center (CCM) said in a statement. Before Morocco, the "Indiana Jones" filming team had set up in Jordan and Tunisia.
Steven Spielberg is the producer of Indiana Jones and works alongside the traditional producers of this saga, Kathleen Kennedy and Frank Marshall. Dr. Henry Walton "Indiana" Jones Little, or Indiana Jones for short, is the main character.
