Harrison Ford Wraps Filming ’Indiana Jones 5’ in Historic Fez, Morocco

The filming of the fifth installment of the American film, Indiana Jones, has just ended this week in Fez. The end of an adventure that lasted about a month and a half.
For about a month and a half, the entire Indiana Jones 5 film crew has criss-crossed several historic neighborhoods of Fez, including the Mellah, Bab Semmarine and Bab Boujloud square for filming. Dr. Henry Walton "Indiana" Jones Little, or Indiana Jones for short, is the main character. A role played by American actor Harrison Ford.
In a statement to Hespress, a source from the production company said that this 5th installment of Indiana Jones will be "the most spectacular", the film containing new adventures. It also highlights the uniqueness of the filming locations in Morocco. The only unfortunate event recorded is the death of Nic Cupac, an American cameraman, a death that is the source of some technical difficulties.
On the economic side, the filming of the film contributed to the creation of nearly 7,000 temporary jobs in the tourism, hospitality, transportation and artistic sectors in Fez, according to the same source.
Indiana Jones joins the series of major international productions filmed in Morocco such as James Bond, Jason Bourne, Mission Impossible, Game of Thrones or Homeland.
