Hakimi’s Late Strike Propels Dortmund to Crucial Bundesliga Win Over Mönchengladbach

Moroccan international Achraf Hakimi once again stood out this Saturday against Mönchengladbach (2-1), scoring the winning goal.
Four days before the Champions League return leg pitting his club, Dortmund, against PSG, the Moroccan player was brilliant. In 36 games in all competitions, Hakimi has scored 7 goals and provided 10 assists. The opening goal came in the 8th minute, on a pass from his teammate Erling Haaland to Thomas Hazard, who scored the goal.
The second half allowed the opposing team to equalize thanks to a nice action by Lars Stindl (50th). The winning goal came in the 70th minute. On a brilliant pass from Jadon Sancho, Achraf Hakimi enters the right side of the box and pushes the ball into the net, between the legs of Yann Sommer, who only saw the fire.
Borussia Dortmund, after 25 games, is temporarily one point behind the leader, Bayern Munich, who were hosting Augsburg this Sunday (2-0 in favor of Bayern).
