Moroccan Star Hakimi Ranks 6th in Bundesliga Assists Before Dortmund Exit

Moroccan international Achraf Hakimi’s performances at Borussia Dortmund over the past season have been recognized again. Just days before his departure from the German club, he was named the 6th best passer in the Bundesliga.
Moroccan player Achraf Hakimi distinguished himself during the 2019/2020 season. At the end of the German championship, he was ranked sixth best passer in the Bundesliga. With 10 assists in 33 games, the versatile full-back positioned himself in the top 10 and is just a few points behind the best passer Thomas Müller, from Bayern Munich (21 assists).
According to the official Bundesliga website, Hakimi, whose loan contract expires on June 30, played 29 matches as a starter and came on as a substitute in 4 matches. In 2,717 minutes, the Atlas Lion scored 5 goals. He also committed 25 fouls in 33 matches and received 5 yellow cards.
At the end of his contract with Borussia Dortmund, Achraf Hakimi is about to join Inter Milan, who would have presented a 40 million offer to secure his services.
