Hakim Ziyech Hailed as ’Arab Pride’ After Pro-Palestinian Gesture

At the origin of this mark of sympathy and affection, a simple but strong gesture on the part of the former Ajax star in favor of the Palestinian cause. "The reason for all these well-deserved praises for the Moroccan player Ziyech is that he waved the Palestinian flag during the celebration of his Galatasaray team for the title of Turkish league champion," explains the journalist in an article published in the newspaper Al Qods Al Arabi, reporting that the Moroccan international entered the field, wrapped in the Palestinian flag to the thunderous applause of the supporters.
For Tahar Taouil, the Atlas Lion has "given a living example of faith in the just Palestinian cause and his support for the oppressed exhausted by the Israeli war machine."
