Hakim Ziyech Denies Saudi Transfer Rumors, Commits to Galatasaray for New Season

Hakim Ziyech does not plan to leave Galatasaray, at least for the moment. The Moroccan international revealed that he has not received any offers from a Saudi club during this summer transfer window, putting an end to rumors about his possible transfer.
"No, I have not received any offers from Saudi Arabia, but things can change at any time," Hakim Ziyech said in an interview with the Turkish newspaper Milliyet. And he added: "Honestly, I’m very excited to start the new season, no matter what people say, the important thing is what I do, I’ll try to give my best again this year."
The Atlas Lion looked back on his mixed performances last season. "I was happy, but there were difficult moments last season. When I arrived, I got injured, later I recovered and my muscle injury came back, I went to the Africa Cup of Nations and I got injured there too. As I said, it was a roller coaster season for me, but it ended well."
The 31-year-old striker also says he is ready to play in any position and deliver more convincing performances this season. "I have no problem, I’m improving every day, I didn’t take advantage of the training camp last year. This year, I’m here, I think I’ll be better. As for the position, I also played as a number 10 at Ajax, on the right wing and on the left wing... The position is not important to me."
