Hakim Ziyech Clinches Turkish Super Lig Title with Galatasaray

Moroccan international Hakim Ziyech is crowned Turkish champion with Galatasaray, who won 3-1 against Konyaspor on the Konya Buyuksehir Belediye pitch on Sunday.
A second trophy for Hakim Ziyech this season. He won the Super Lig with Galatasaray, who had 33 wins, three draws and two losses and only needed one draw in the final against Konyaspor to clinch the 24th Turkish championship title in their history and for the second consecutive time. The Turkish club won easily (3-1) on Sunday thanks to Mauro Icardi (29th and 51st minutes, author of a brace) and Berkan Kutlu who scored the third and final goal of the Istanbulites in the 53rd minute.
Galatasaray’s coach did not line up Ziyech for this last match due to the yellow cards he received. He received his first yellow card against Kasimpasa (2-1), the second against Karagümrük (1-0), the third against Fenerbahçe (0-0) in the first leg between the two teams and the last in the return match against the same team (0-1). But the Moroccan international still put in good performances this season, contributing to the exploits of the Turkish club. He scored six goals and provided three assists in 18 appearances in the Turkish league.
