Good news for Moroccan motorists! Fuel prices will drop starting this Saturday, November 16. Let’s take a closer look.
Thus, gasoline will drop by 30 cents today, going to 13.07 dirhams per liter in Casablanca. This information, reported by Le360, has been confirmed by the National Federation of Owners, Merchants and Managers of Service Stations in Morocco (FNPCGS), offering a little respite to motorists who have seen prices soar in recent months.
On the other hand, no change for diesel, which will remain stable at 11.27 dirhams per liter.
Despite this drop, the margins of the distributors remain comfortable. In the second quarter of 2024, they reached 1.79 dirhams per liter for gasoline and 1.21 dirhams for diesel. Figures slightly down compared to the first quarter, where the margins were respectively 2.07 and 1.46 dirhams.
