German Newspaper Criticizes Moroccan Team’s Pro-Palestinian Displays at World Cup

The support of the Atlas Lions and Moroccan fans for Palestine is seen in a bad light by a German newspaper that accuses them of anti-Semitism.
"Marokko liegt nicht in Palästina - Morocco is not in Palestine". A headline from the German newspaper Die Tageszeitung, better known as Taz, which claims that the success of the Moroccan team is "covered in a lot of Palestinian symbolism." The publication criticizes the supporters and the Qataris who wore a "pro-Palestinian" armband, claiming that it was only a reflex to the "One love" armband in support of the LGBT that the German national team was not allowed to wear during the World Cup matches.
