German Auto Supplier Leoni to Invest $93 Million in Morocco, Creating 7,100 Jobs

The Head of Government, Aziz Akhannouch, presided over the signing ceremony of two protocols of agreement and a framework agreement for the implementation of six investment projects of the German group "Leoni" in the automotive sector, representing a total amount of more than 932 million dirhams (MDH).
These projects aim to create 7,100 jobs by 2027, focusing on the construction of a new wiring unit in Agadir and the expansion of the group’s plants in the Casablanca-Settat region. The agreements were signed between various ministries and government agencies as well as the German group.
The first protocol of agreement concerns the creation of an electrical wiring manufacturing unit in Agadir, while the second protocol of agreement aims to support investment and employment within the future industrial unit of the group in the same region.
