Fugitive Drug Trafficker Arrested in Morocco After Attacking Police with Pitbull

A madman who attacked gendarmes using a pitbull was arrested in the Béni Mellal region on Thursday, August 22, 2019. He was the subject of 20 arrest warrants nationwide for drug and moonshine trafficking.
A special defendant! The case the Royal Gendarmerie agents had to deal with last Thursday. It gave them a hard time.
Under the weight of 20 national arrest warrants for drug and moonshine, also called ’’mahia’’, trafficking, the 30-year-old repeat offender used a system of caves around Zaouïat Cheikh to move around and transport his illicit goods, according to sources close to Hespress.
Having traced his tracks, the Royal Gendarmerie elements surrounded him in an olive field at the level of the commune of Ait Oum El Bakht, in the Béni Mellal region.
Entrenched in his rear base, the individual showed "fierce" resistance against the gendarmes, going so far as to use a pitbull to try to escape. Apprehended finally, the law enforcement officers seized a large quantity of drugs and moonshine, as well as the dangerous dog. The trafficker was taken into custody for the needs of the investigation, pending his appearance for his actions.
