Fuel Prices in Morocco Drop Again, Bringing Relief to Drivers

In Morocco, the drop in fuel prices continues. Gasoline and diesel prices are once again down, to the delight of motorists.
New drop in pump prices. Since the night of Thursday to Friday, the prices of a liter of gasoline and diesel have recorded significant declines, ranging between 40 and 50 cents at service stations. The price of a liter of diesel thus varies between 12.79 and 13.04 dirhams, while that of gasoline oscillates between 15.02 and 15.05 dirhams.
This is the second drop recorded during the month of May, after that of May 1st. Diesel and gasoline prices had fallen by 25 cents per liter. After this new drop, the price of diesel has fallen to 12.40 dirhams per liter and that of gasoline to 14.60 dirhams per liter. This drop in prices is explained by the easing of oil product prices observed recently on international markets. The price of oil has not been affected by the geopolitical conflicts.
