FRS Iberia Seeks Funding to Expand Ferry Routes Between Morocco and Spain

The shipping company FRS Iberia Group could strengthen the lines between Tangier and some Spanish cities like Algeciras and Tarifa. It is currently seeking to raise funds to finance its growth.
Will the Tangier City-Tarifa, Tangier Med-Algeciras and Algeciras-Ceuta lines soon be strengthened? In a press release, FRS Iberia Group announces that it has launched - through Lincoln International, a specialized investment bank - a transaction process to raise funds that will allow it to undertake new investments in the medium and long term, such as the expansion of its fleet among others to meet growing demand in the sector.
Since 2000, the shipping company explains that it has maintained "a stable and healthy economy and occupies a leading position in the region, a hub for maritime traffic with Morocco and the gateway to the African continent." This is evidenced by its latest figures at the end of 2022. "After the reopening of passenger and vehicle traffic in April, FRS Iberia Group has transported more than 1.4 million passengers and more than 275,000 vehicles. FRS Iberia has also transported more than 122,000 cargo units on the Strait of Gibraltar routes in 2022," the same source specifies.
