FRMF President Clashes with FIFA Chief Over Controversial WAFCON Final Referee Decision

Fouzi Lekjaa, President of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF), did not hesitate to express his anger towards the referee of the final of the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON), which resulted in a defeat for the Atlas Lionesses against Nigeria.
The Atlas Lionesses have lost the final of the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) for the second time. This time, they were defeated by the Nigerians. The Nigerian team won its 10th WAFCON in 13 editions. A new defeat that the President of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) has apparently not digested.
During the medal ceremony, Fouzi Lekjaa did not hide his anger towards the match referee, the Namibian Antsino Twanyanyukwa, in front of the cameras.
