French Tourists Flee Morocco After Allegedly Running Over Parking Attendant in Marrakech
Three French tourists have just caused serious injuries to a parking attendant by running him over with a car and, in all likelihood, they have already left Morocco.
These French tourists would not have wanted to pay the "bill" owed to the parking attendant, namely three consecutive nights of surveillance, and simply ran him over.
According to Alayam24, the attendant was seriously injured (multiple injuries of varying severity) and had to be taken to the military hospital in Marrakech, to the emergency room for treatment.
Surveillance camera footage allowed the investigators to obtain the vehicle’s license plate. They followed this lead to a car rental agency. With the renter’s name in hand, it then turned out that he and his companions had already left Morocco for France.
An international arrest warrant has been requested against these three French tourists by the Moroccan authorities. And the owner of the apartment where they were staying during their stay has been questioned by the police.
